More than 130 of XANGO Japan’s leaders, newcomers and corporate staff gathered at the Tokai-area Nagoya Hilton for one quick, action-packed day of laser-focused training. In attendance were superstars like 100K Select Yuji Sato, 100K Yuki Koga, Premier Shinroku Shirahama, 20Ks Jin Sakata, Noriko Inaba, Mayuri Inai and Wakana Someki, discussing some of the finer points of the XANGO opportunity as it continues to open up in Japan.

The only hiccup to the proceedings was when the group had to find a larger room in the hotel to accommodate the surprising turnout, but that was handled adroitly and, hey, it’s not a bad problem to have to deal with, right?

The event opened with some spot-on presentations regarding how events create leaders, how to maximize the benefit of Japan’s Kickoff Event and the upcoming Global Convention and some valuable reminiscing from 20Ks about how they made the step to 5K. That last theme was continued in a group breakout format that was as innovative as it was effective: 12 groups distilled the wisdom of the day into unique presentations for the larger group, all dealing with how to turn sign-ups into 5Ks. The presentations were judged by 20Ks and Premiers and awards were given to the top three groups. Needless to say, we can expect a lot of new 5Ks and emerging leaders coming out of Japan as a result of this phenomenal day of training.
