Founder Joe Morton traveled to Taiwan for a series of meetings sharing “XANGO’s Love & Care,” and the local Distributors gave both right back—with interest. The meeting in Taichung had 140 attendees, the one in Taipei had 240 and 220 showed up in Kaohsiung. Absolutely fabulous spirit there as Joe, local corporate support and Distributor leaders discussed the company’s philanthropic underpinnings.

The moving message got a visceral manifestation as great kids from the World Peace organization played Taiko drums for the audiences. XANGO donated the proceeds from a very successful fundraiser to World Peace, which gives a hand-up to children of broken families and limited resources. It was a great show, besides being a good cause!

Joe took the stage and never lost the rapt attention of the masses. In discussing the question, “Why XANGO?,” he brought everyone up to date on the compelling good work done by our partners at Operation Smile. We’re proud to work so closely with them.

He also mentioned Jeremy Lin, the New York Knicks point guard who has become the only NBA player anyone wants to talk about these days. Lin excelled in high school and college, but professional teams weren’t willing to give him a chance in his rookie year. When he finally got his shot, Lin led the Knicks on a 7-game winning streak in February, and he’s forced everyone to take note. He’s demanded the attention he always deserved, and he’s achieved his dream despite so many obstacles.

This story resonated with the Distributors. Though he was born in California, Lin has a huge following in his parents’ native Taiwan. Everyone in the room has a dream and, similar to Lin, has faced some adversity as they pursued it. But with Joe’s encouragement and a local hero to emulate, they will never give up. Big dreams take hard work, but they’re always worth the effort.

Rediscovery in Thailand, rank advancements, putting away money for retirement—these are real, meaningful dreams for the people of Taiwan. Joe impressed upon them that they grow as fast as their downlines grow. It’s not enough to simply go to a meeting and find the keys to success; leaders must move the message along, educate their teams and train those with a keen desire on best business practices.

Power couple 100K Selects Chian Wen Long & Chang Ye Chuan couple shared that XANGO Goodness was the reason they chose to leave their previous company of 18 years. They dedicated 20% of their income to charity in the beginning, and have since grown that number to 50%. Amazing examples.

100K Select Vincent Peng, who translated at all of these meetings, shared his experience at last year’s Discovery Club. The crowd could see how much it meant to him to work alongside Founder Aaron Garrity improving the schoolyard of local Thai children. Everyone who hasn’t yet qualified for the trip is now working even harder to make it to for Rediscovery this year.

Joe closed the meeting with an inspiring quote that put XANGO Love & Care into perspective:

“The moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help you that would never otherwise have occurred…unforeseen incidents, meetings and material assistance which no one could have dreamed of begin to come your way.”

Networking isn’t just a way to do business; it’s a way to build relationships, share prosperity and spread the love. Great meeting, Taiwan!

Hey Joe! Great Job! I would love to accompany you to Taiwan. I am in under Lennon Ledbetter, and have been for years… I served an LDS Mission there and got into network marketing so that I can service them again.
