Wow. It’s been a crazy, amazing, wonderful trip through Asia this last week, with each stop reaffirming my belief in this company’s power to change lives.

The Taiwan 3rd Anniversary Event was absolutely massive. This was no ordinary city meeting. XANGO reached a milestone in the history of the Taiwan market, and they celebrated in style. Seventeen buses from southern Taiwan and 14 buses from central Taiwan joined the local Distributors at the Taipei International Convention Center. Before you read on, I want you to take a guess how many people were in attendance. Think about it for a minute. Taiwan is not a large island.

There were 3,600 Distributors at this event!

A stunning number. So proud of Taiwan and I love the passion they feel for XANGO. They were incredibly kind to me and the other visitors—people like 500K Anton Garrity, 500K Sherman Unkefer, and 100Ks Gabriella & Gordon Morton, Sr.

The show opened with a band playing onstage. So great! So much energy. The leaders 100K and above came up with their new PET bottles (recycled after the show, to be sure) and the crowd was going crazy.

VP XANGO Greater China Region Daniel Tuan and I borrowed the band’s drums for a minute as we took the stage, then welcomed the overwhelming crowd with Jacy Tsai, Sr. Manager in Taiwan.

Daniel spoke first, inspiring the crowd by explaining the theme, which in English translates roughly to “Dream is Possible to Reach.” (Big thanks to my translators…) In a demonstration of the theme, Daniel said, “The goal of 3,000 attendants was a challenge to us, but look around! Do not fear failure, because with XANGO, it’s safe to dream again.” He also showed the XANGO Goodness video. The whole room began to see that more than just their own dreams will come true when they succeed with XANGO. Taiwan has the leaders to do it—all of them were seated in the front rows—and they clearly have the vision.

Next up, scrub dancing. This is a few minutes of dancing that Taiwanese Distributors use to kick off their training meetings. It’s fun, it’s funny, and when you have a whole city’s-worth of people dancing together, it’s pretty spectacular. I couldn’t have asked for a better setup.

During my time on stage I shared how special the Discovery Club trip is every year and encouraged everyone to work toward Re-Discovery, our 10th anniversary trip, in 2012. Asian Distributors have the tools and the leadership required to reach that individual milestone. I hope to see many, many people in Thailand next November proudly waving the Taiwanese flag! I know 100Ks Liu Li Jen and Vincent Peng are planning on it…

So many achievers to recognize, from new 20Ks, Premiers and 100Ks to the teams that won the Success Express competition by having the highest sponsoring volume over the last 8 months. Taiwan’s growth promises big things for the future. Then came the gorgeous light ball dancing and electric violin. Every detail of this event was done perfectly!

Sherman shared his story and told why he joined XANGO. He told the audience that each one of them could build a large international organization like he has, beginning right there at home. Anton compared network marketing to another thing he loves: bike racing. He described the need to work as a team, with each member fulfilling his or her role to perfection. Smart analogy.

We gave out 10 XANGO-branded bikes to commemorate the XANGO Green campaign launched at Convention. (I was a little jealous of the winners… I wonder if I can get ahold of one, too!)

All this was capped off with an explosive ending reminiscent of the one at Convention. Ricky Hsiao sang a terrific song, followed by five giant orange balloons rolling down from the back row. Just like XANGO, the X, A, N, G & O balloons moved forward until they reached their goal. A super finish to a super-charged event!

Special thanks to Sandy Lord, Sam Lau and the Taiwan corporate staff. This was a celebration to remember—here’s to three more years of the same growth, Taiwan, and then three more after that!
